Post-Procedure Instructions

There are 5 simple things to do post-procedure. Following these instructions will make a difference in achieving the optimal final result.

1. Suspend Sexual Relations – Sexual activity should be suspended for at least 72 hours. This is a necessary step to protect the penis from possible localized skin infections which may affect the shaping of the organ and thus compromise the result. After this period, sexual activity can resume.

2. Keep Your Dressing in Place – Keep your dressing / gauze in place for 24 hours.

3. Apply Arnica Cream – Apply over-the-counter Arnica Cream or a hot towel to the area to mitigate bruising.

4. Do Not Shave Your Pubic Area – Do not shave or manscape in the area for 2 weeks post-procedure.

5. Do NOT Shower “Same Day” – You can shower the morning after your procedure.

Immediate Effects of Penile Injections / Filling

Since the injections are made with a fine needle using local anesthesia, the UroFill® procedure is performed with little to no pain. Follow Up Sessions After Treatment Completion

First Session Initial Follow-Up

One week after the first session of applications, “modelling” or manual manipulation of the filler is performed if necessary before your next UroFill® session.

Two weeks after the first session, if necessary, subsequent rounds are performed to enhance volume and/or correct irregularities.

On average, treatment requires a total of three or four consultations, with intervals of seven to 15 days. This period is necessary to allow the filler to stabilize and detect areas that need improvement, aiming for the most harmonious and satisfactory result possible.

Future Follow Ups

Following your initial series of injections / treatments will lead to the long-awaited final appearance. The enlargement is lasting, but not permanent.

Stay Hydrated: Adequate hydration is essential for overall health and aids in healing, promoting recovery after your post-UroFill® procedure. The recommended water intake varies depending on age, weight, and lifestyle. For non-athletes, a general guideline suggests 35 ml per kilogram of body weight daily.

Maintain a Balanced Diet – A balanced diet is another key factor in maintaining overall health and, naturally, skin health. The rule is simple: eat real food, vary your choices, and avoid highly processed options. To benefit the skin and penis specifically, include generous servings of fruits, vegetables, and legumes in your meals, as they are rich in vitamins and minerals.

Avoid Cigarettes and Alcoholic Beverages – Besides being harmful to health, smoking and alcohol can interfere with the recovery process. Therefore, discuss this with your doctor and consider avoiding these substances, at least during the post-procedure period.
